The flying foxes of Parramatta River // Wanderings Eps 2

In the second episode of Wanderings I go down to the Parramatta River, land of the Burramattagal clan of the Darug people.

It is home to 15,000 grey-headed flying foxes. Many foxes perished in the 2019/20 bush fires and are an endangered species. Many at Parramatta River are at risk of dying from heatstroke as we experience more frequent climate fueled heatwaves.
