Students for refugees had a picnic at Kings Park on the 31 March to say welcome to refugees and continue to combat the governments anti-asylum seeker rhetoric. People engaged in a range of activities, especially ball sports. Here are some photos from it.

My thoughts on the NUS (National Union of Students) decision to change the venue of the protest the night before. Which I feel is done for an incredibly soft and false argument that has resulted in a demobilised rally.
A few hundred people came out and protested against the Abbott and Liberal governments agenda.

It was an inspiring experience to film and photograph one of the largest and most united Aboriginal protests I have ever being a part of. Over 2,000 people marched to through Perth to parliament house as part of a national day of action on March 19 against the closure of remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia.
