International Women's Day

Several hundred people marched through Sydney for International Women's Day. A large contingent of Latin American women, organised by DecoFem Collective, took part, highlighting the issue of feminicide and the growing movement against it. Several unions also marched, including the NSW Teachers Federation, the Australian Services Union, the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association, the Finance Sector Union, the National Tertiary Education Union, and the Amalgamated Metal Workers Union. Speakers took up issues of equal pay, domestic violence and climate change.
